This course sequence is a general chemistry sequence for science majors including chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology and related fields. The material covered is similar to that in General Chemistry - CHE101-102, but with greater scientific rigor. There is discussion of the effects of chemistry on our everyday lives and the interaction of economics and politics on "real world" chemistry. In addition, more interactive discussion is possible due to the small size of the classes.
