Undergraduate Creative Activity

• Departmental Course Number – 498.
• Minimum is 1 credit.
• You must be enrolled in the appropriate course by the end of the Drop/Add Period.
• Participation in the following 2-credit hour MUS courses would also count:
  • MUS 121/MUS 321 University Chorus
  • MUS 130 UB Marching Band
  • MUS 131/MUS 331 UB Concert Band
  • MUS 138 MUS 338 UB Symphony Orchestra
  • MUS 143/MUS 334 Percussion Ensemble
  • MUS 151/MUS 351 University Choir
  • MUS 156/MUS 356 Jazz Ensemble Big Band
  • MUS 157/MUS 357 Jazz Ensemble Combo
  • MUS 330 UB Pep Band
• A final evaluation must be submitted from your faculty supervisor.
• Credits must appear on your transcript with a grade of “B” or better.
• Creative activities that do not offer academic credit (i.e., independent student productions) will not meet one of the experiences.
