Becoming a Leader Program

Learn from UB alumni about how UB has influenced their success as local leaders during Dialogue & Dessert: On Becoming a Leader, Monday October 19th at 6:30 pm in the Center for Student Leadership and Community Engagement (CSLCE), 235 Student Union. Dialogue & Dessert provides UB students with an opportunity to:
· Network with UB alumni
· Learn how experiences at UB helped alumni to succeed
· Hear from local leaders about their leadership journeys
This reception will feature the following UB alumni for a panel discussion, question and answer session, and casual conversation.
Eileen Connor-Costilow, Director of Human Resources: Lumsden & McCormick, LLP. Ms. Connor-Costilow received her MBA from UB’s School of Management.
Hon. Leslie Foschio, US Magistrate Judge: US District Court. Judge Foschio has an undergraduate degree in History as well as a law degree (J.D.) from the University at Buffalo.
Karen Geelan, Principle: Kenmore West Senior High School . Mrs. Geelan has multiple Ed.M. degrees from UB’s Graduate School of Education.
Jason Pan, Sr. Credit Risk Analyst: HSBC. Mr. Pan is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Management.
Phillip Smith, Development Officer: University at Buffalo. Mr. Smith has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from UB. His B.S. was earned from the School of Public Health & Health Professions and his Ed.M. from the Graduate School of Education.
Dr. Celia Spacone, Director of Operations: Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Dr. Spacone received her Ed.M. and Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo and is a New York State Licensed Psychologist.
Phillip Wiggle, Adjunct Faculty: Medaille College. Mr. Wiggle is also a business consultant and speaker and has his B.S. from UB’s School of Management.
Leadership Week helps students recognize their potential as leaders and inspires them to take action.
