Darryl Raszl Undergraduate Fellowship in Biological Sciences
Goal: To provide financial support to facilitate undergraduate research during the academic year
Award: $1,275 per year, for 3 years
Application Requirements:
- Must currently be a sophomore, with a declared Biological Sciences major
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Honors Program participants are not eligible
- Demonstrable financial need
To apply:
Submit the following to Sandy Fitzpatrick in Cooke 109 by 1pm, Friday,
October 26th, 2007 (LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)
- Resume (include student ID#, email address, employment history)
- Current DARS report
- A written statement (1 page maximum) explaining why you are interested in obtaining research experience and describing financial need
*** If you are selected to receive this Fellowship, you will have until
January 31, 2008 to secure a position in a research laboratory in the
Department of Biological Sciences.
