Undergraduate Research Program in Biology

The summer Undergraduate Research Program (URP) at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) was established in 1959.  It provides a unique opportunity for young people from around the world to learn first-hand about genetics, cell biology, neurobiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics by working and living in a scientific community that is renowned for its research and educational programs.  The 10-week program takes place at the Watson School of Biological Sciences in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.  For more information on the program visit www.cshl.edu/URP
