Honors seminar in Utah

Southern Utah University is proud to host the first NCHC Partners in the Park seminar. We are inviting Honors faculty/students from across the country to join us in exploring southern Utah’ s amazing red rock country. For one exciting week, May 11-17, 2007, the canyons, mountains, and forests of scenic southern Utah become our classroom as we take the NCHC Place As Text program into the wild. This Partners in the Parks seminar will be a fun, non-credit bearing, experiential learning activity. Outdoor learning is a hallmark of the SUU Honors Program and the seminar director has over 10 years of experience organizing and leading outdoor/wilderness classes.
