Office of the President Online Research Internship
Program Description:
Interns conduct research directly related to the following fields:
1. Environment and Energy
2. Social Entrepreneurship
3. Economic Development
as well as provide information on companies, NGOs, non-profits and international organizations who work within these spheres.
Ideal candidate will work well under tight deadlines, be extremely thorough and fastidious in their research, communicate in a professional manner and be flexible and open to a variety of research tasks.
Qualifications:
Relevant knowledge about one of the areas mentioned aboveEconomic background
Computer and Internet Access
Excellent English writing skills
Intermediate research skills
Ability to manage time and work independently
Punctuality to meet deadlines
Creativity and logical thinking
In the result:All interns receive certificates of completion and become members of Athgo’s Alumni Network. All certified interns will receive priority consideration for Fellowships at our Innovation and Capacity Building Centers <http://www.athgo.org/programs/icb_centers.html> as well as our exclusive internships with international organizations, NGOs and the private sector. Past positions include the UN Global Alliance for ICT Development (GAID), the UN University (UNU), and the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
