The Graduate School of Education is hosting a lecture this Thursday, October 2nd at 4:00p.m. in Slee Hall and they are looking for ushers to help out. You would be taking tickets and directing people into the theater (it is general seating).
The speaker is Jonathan Kozol and the lecture is currently sold out. He is a wonderful speaker who focuses on issues in education/teaching. For more information: http://www.gse.buffalo.edu/news/kozol/bio.asp
If you are interested in ushering, you would also be welcome to stay for the lecture and Q&A afterwards.
You would need to be in Slee Hall lobby at 3:00p.m. (if you decide not to stay for the lecture you will be done around 4:15-4:30pm.)
Please e-mail me at kcs9@buffalo.edu by this Wednesday (10/1) at 11:00am if you would like to help out. They are looking for 8-10 students to serve as ushers.
Thank you!
Karyn
