The Department of Music at UB is pleased to offer qualified applicants scholarships in music performance. Applicants for the music major, interested in applying for scholarships, are required to perform an audition (live or CD/tape) and submit the following: a departmental application, a financial aid request form, an audition request form, two letters of recommendation, a complete list of solo repertoire which the applicant has studied or performed, and a personal statement outlining career goals and experience in music performance and study. Complete applications must arrive by January 1st. Applicants will be expected to pass a Music Theory Placement Exam, given on specific audition days in January, February, and August.
