Welcome to The Honors College!

Welcome to your college journey!

I have worked at UB since 1994 and I have enjoyed professional roles in the Office of Student Life, UB’s Law School, UB Undergraduate Admissions, I created and served as Director of UB’s Center for Undergraduate Research from 2004 to 2019 and I am now working with students in UB’s Honors College. UB is diverse and there are thousands of opportunities just waiting for you to find them and experience them. I look forward to assisting you towards your own path as a member of the University at Buffalo. Get ready for an exciting ride.

I grew up in the city of Buffalo and enjoy all that our region has to offer. I am a proud alum of Xavier University (Ohio) where I competed at the Division 1 level as a student/athlete. Proper time management and organizational skills will allow you to “do it all” these next four years and beyond. While earning my master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from UB, I served as Legislative Staff for The New York State Senate, and recently I ran for public office. My own personal journey has been exciting and ever changing, and I want yours to be as well.

I reside now in Clarence Center, NY, with my wife and our two Jack Russell Terriers. I have two grown children who navigated their own college and life experiences to date...and I look forward to what the future brings for them. I am involved in ministry at my local parish and on most Sundays in the fall, I work for the Buffalo Bills as a Game Day Supervisor. Here at UB, along with my role in the Honors College, I am the Chair of the University Professional Staff Senate, within the Office of Shared Governance.
